Fixed At Zero - VersaEmerge

We need more rock/emo bands with a female lead, in my opinion, because their voices suit the genre so damn well. Sierra Kay’s voice is nothing short of stunning. The harmonies she generates are an aural dream.

One thing I love about this album is the melodies. They’re super unconventional in the way they seamlessly switch between major and minor and also dropping 7th progressions in there too. It’s right up my alley and a throwback to the mid-2000s, early 2010s scene.

My favourite track, by a long stretch, is Stranger, because it’s a masterpiece.
